Project: Mooring Dolphins Dock C & Dock D 

  • Supply and installation of steel tubular piles for Mooring Dolphins for shipyard in Curacao.
  • Dock C: Vibratory and drilling of steel tubular piles with Ø610 x 12,0 mm, length 26,5 meter_9,6 meter sheetpiles, length 6 meter.
  • Dock D: Vibratory and drilling of steel tubular piles with Ø914 x 25,4 mm, length 26,5 meter. 

Techniques used:

  • Vibratory driven piling of  tubular piles
  • Tubular piles with a diameter of 914 mm
  • Length tubular piles varies from 21 to 26 meter

Features: 

  • All operations carried out from barge with limited workspace at Curacao. 
  • The majority of the steel tubular piles were to be constructed in suspension.

Three staff members of Vanthek Projects travelled to Curacao, along with materials and equipment, for the construction of the Mooring Dolphins Dock C & Dock D.
